Among these special features which you can use to create different objects, the Mickey Tag can be created by hitting the F1 button on your Cricut machine. By hitting F2, you’ll be able to create the Mickey charm. F3 will let you create the Mickey Silhouette, while hitting on F4 will let you create the Mickey End Caps which is shaped like a bone where you can type in a word or series of letters. F5 will let you create the Mickey shadow which just the shaded letter “M.” while F6 will let you create the End Caps shadow as well.

Aside from creating the basic special features with your Disney Mickey font cartridge, the Creative Features setting can let you build the different popular Disney characters such as Mickey and Minnie Mouse. With your keypad, you will need to use the different features of the character’s elements. You will need to use Blackout + Face + White + Tongue + Shadow + Ribbon/Hat, which are all included in the Disney Mickey font cartridge. Aside from creating your own Disney characters, you can also create End Caps using the End Caps feature which are shown at the left. The shapes of the End Caps include the ticket, which is shaped just like a movie ticket, the license plate, and the dog bone.

Once you’ve mastered how to create the different Mickey font cartridge features, you can start making your own unique projects using the letters, numbers, shapes, and characters. You can create a Mickey Charm Bracelet, which is composed of the Mickey Charm feature. You may use black plastic film for the charms, jump rings, a beaded chain, and a Cricut tool kit or piercing tool to poke out the spaces on the stencil. Other projects you can make using the Disney Mickey font are personalized cards and tags to hang on your door, or picture frames using the different Disney characters as the design. This cartridge can be used for a variety of Disney Mickey Font projects, and it is up to you on how you’d like to use them to produce creative, fun projects.

Creative features from the Disney Happily Ever After cartridge include choosing from three different layers, icon, a combination of base and icon and charm. All of these would let more of the creative juices flowing from creating varied results. This type of cartridge would be most fitting for those who have enjoyed the classical Disney animations.

From Snow White, all seven lovable dwarfs and a pose with her prince charming are included. From Cinderella, the 2 mice, the pumpkin turned carriage and the enchanting fairy godmother cutouts can also be used. Sleeping beauty, on the other hand, looks like she is going to be just fine with her 3 fairy godmothers. There are borders with flowers and vines suitable for princesses. Castles, foliage and even the dwarfs’ cozy cabin are not forgotten.

The whole scrapbook can have Disney as the theme. These charming characters would also make wonderful accents in greeting cards, invitations and bookmarks. It would pay off to get some glittery supplies as it would perfectly match with the dreaminess of the Disney Happily Ever After cartridge. Utilizing metallic embellishments of different shapes can also add to the texture of such projects. There are many metallic and glittery supplies such as pens, markers, paint and glitter glue. The shadow blackout feature can also be used on metallic paper.

Little ones can also join in the fun if the cutouts are big enough. There are also metallic colored pens that can be used to further accentuate the cutouts. This cartridge also comes with six Creative Feature keys which add to the artistic appeal of the characters. A Creative Feature key and a character key are selected and cut to produce outstanding details that make a character more attractive to one’s eye. Other shapes are images of the different characters’ names; beehives; bees and various other insects; honey pots; books; the moon and stars; the sun; butterfly nets; fences; flowers, trees, plants, and leaves; fruits and vegetables; watering cans; wheelbarrows; clouds; raindrops; lightning; umbrellas; kites; sailboats; signposts; snowflakes; snowman Pooh; balloons; presents; a cake with a candle; basic shapes like squares and circles; pirate caps, witch’s hats, Santa hats, party hats, and top hats; logs; bonnets; and bridges. Minor characters from Winnie the Pooh also make an appearance, such as Lumpy the Elephant and Gopher. There are six creative features available on this cartridge, namely Layers: 1 and 2, Layers: 3 and 4, Icon, Icon: Square/Circle, Shadow: Base/Icon, and Blackout. Note that the images included in Disney Pooh and Friends are a bit more complex to work with, which is why there are layering features. To come up with a complete image, users must first click on a base shape then click on the Layers: 1 and 2 feature to fill in the base with the first and second layers. Next, users should enable the Layers: 3 and 4 feature to lay in the third and fourth layers on the base. The Icon feature is for users to work with icons, which are extra accent images that come with each shape. Icon: Square/Circle refers to icon images that are drawn on either a square or circular background. The Shadow: Base/Icon feature refers to the silhouettes of the shapes and icons, while enabling Blackout will cause the empty white spaces in base shapes to be completely filled in.

The characters on the Cars cartridge are the characters in the film, including the lead star race car Lightning “Stickers” McQueen, his 2002 Porsche 911 girlfriend Sally Carrera, Lightning’s tow truck best friend Mater, the 1951 Hudson Hornet Doc, Radiator Springs’ law enforcement the Sheriff, Dinoco’s Strip “The King” Weathers, Luigi, Flo, Ramone, Sarge and more. The cartridge also contains road signs and the movie’s logo.

The Creative Feature keys for this cartridge are Layers: Tires/Eyes, Layers: Body/White/Windows, Layers: Detail/Detail, Spare Parts, Shadow, and Spare Parts Blackout. When a character is simultaneously selected with any of these Creative Feature keys, the character will appear in the style of the Creative Feature key. All the layers must be used to have all the details of the Cars character.

One project you and/or your children can make with the Cars cartridge is a picture frame. You can make this by cutting out the different layers of a character in the film and sticking these layer pieces together. Then you can cut out a picture frame made of cardstock and stick the Cars character onto this picture frame. You can also make greeting cards using the cartridge. You can cut the different layers of a character, stick them together, and stick them on the cover or on the inside of a folded piece of cardstock. Then, write a message on the card and it will be ready to be given to a special someone. You can create wonderful posters using the Cars characters.
