Sesame Street Font Cricut Cartridge Review
The Sesame Street Font Cricut cartridge, created by Provo Craft together with Sesame Workshop, is a fun and fitting complement to the Sesame Street Friends cartridge. Like the Sesame Street Friends cartridge, the Sesame Street Font set is best used for decorating nurseries, playrooms or daycare centers, and preschool classrooms, just to name a few. This cartridge is also perfect for making kids’ scrapbooks, notebooks, and fun greeting cards. This can also be used in coming up with creative educational and motivational tools, such as alphabet flash cards, for children. Other projects for which the Sesame Street Font cartridge can be used include name tags or labels. This cartridge has several creative feature keys, which are layering, sunny day, blackboard, shapes, shadow, and sunny day shadow, for you to add more oomph to the letters.
Children will surely love to learn the alphabet with the Sesame Street Font cartridge because this gives a fun twist to the traditional letters. Each letter is available in both uppercase and lowercase, and each capital letter is illustrated with a character from the hit television show. Elmo holds big A while peeking out from behind the letter. Capital B is cradled gently by Big Bird who is shown smiling. Aside from grasping uppercase C, Cookie Monster also clutches a cookie in one of his hands. Elmo smiles as he clings to the letter D, while the letter E is presented with a flourish by the same character. Big Bird proudly shows off “F,” and a grinning Elmo displays big G. These first seven letters of the alphabet are just a teaser of the shapes that the cartridge contains. The three Sesame Street characters are drawn with the rest of the letters.
Aside from the basic letters, the Sesame Street Font cartridge also includes numbers, basic shapes (such as circle, square, and triangle), and symbols (like parentheses). These numbers, symbols, and basic shapes are also drawn with the three characters. As an added bonus, the cartridge also features Elmo, Big Bird, and Cookie Monster as shapes in themselves, just like the shapes in the Sesame Street Friends cartridge. The Elmo shapes include his face, Elmo enjoying a book, Elmo in a blue circle and waving, Elmo in a blue circle and smiling. Cookie Monster’s face is also available as well as other shapes that depict him sitting down while holding up a cookie and beaming and Cookie Monster in a diamond with cookies. Just like Cookie Monster and Elmo, Big Bird’s face is also one of the shapes in the cartridge. Other Big Bird shapes include Big Bird sitting as well as Big Bird peeking out from a blue circle.
