Paper Pups Cricut Cartridge Review
Dog-lovers everywhere will rejoice at the coming of this adorable, wild cartridge: Paper Pups! At first glance, one will already be entranced by the cute cartoon puppies staring out of their paper cages. All sorts of dogs are covered by Paper Pups, with recognizable breeds like poodles, terriers and greyhounds. However, there is a fair share of dogs in action. Want jump dogs, flying dogs, hugging dogs, smiling dogs, or dogs taking care of their young? This catridge has it all and more, including familiar pet-related phrases like “Hot dog”, “Walk?” and “Woof”. Other familiar shapes like bones, fire hydrants and doghouses also finish off the set quite nicely. The package really is complete, and yet, there’s more: one can stick to the solid, original cut-out of a dog or he or she can choose to put that dog in a shape – like a circle. There are also card versions and bordered versions (like putting rows of one picture of dogs), shadows and blackouts, wherein only the shape of the dog is evident.
The maker of the cartridge, David Walker, has been dealing with dogs and drawings all his life. It’s only natural for the two vastly different hobbies to meet, and Paper Pups is the product of all his effort and dedication. He has worked on children’s books, greeting cards, scrapbook papers and gift wrap, spending much of his time with children and pets. His simplistic, doodle-styled artwork is reflective of the zaniness he experiences (but utterly loves) almost every single day.
Paper Pups Cricut cartridge can be applied to almost any art project. It is not strictly a font with specific letters, but it makes up for that by making all sorts of variations available. Rest assured, one will not get bored trying out a different effect or shape every time, making sure that no one puppy is ever truly the same. One can use the cartridge for any dog-lover or child when it comes to scrapbook pages, greeting cards and invitations. Or use it for scrapbooking a page dedicated to the family dog! The cuteness of it all will truly inflect on all the familiar times and moments anyone has shared with their favorite canine, whether just walking them or playing crazy games together. By decorating the page with all of those sweet little puppies, anyone who sees them won’t be able to help but see their own dogs in those puppies’ little dot eyes.

George and the Basic Shapes Cricut Cartridge Review
Paper crafting usually starts by learning the basics, and one of the best way to do so is by using a cartridge, called George and the basic shapes.
This cartridge was invented by Cecelia Harris, who has been a devotee of art throughout her life. She has several passions prior to paper crafting, and this include reading books and lettering. In fact, at a young age, she already developed her own lettering designs that became a great influence to her very own Cricut cartridge set. She also loves cooking, sewing, and doing cross-stitch. These hobbies have also been helpful ways to enhance her passion for art. Now, her George and the basic shapes cartridge has been a valuable art tool, especially for beginners who are just starting to love paper crafting.
This cartridge contains the usual shapes and figures, such as triangles, circles, squares, stars, diamonds, and rectangles. It also includes letters of the alphabet, numbers from zero to nine, and one-word designs and phrase patterns, such as “the”, “from”, “to”, “I love you”, and “thinking of you.”
One of the unique features of the George and the basic shapes cartridge is that it includes a charm feature, which enables users to upgrade the design of their craft. There are also other special features, which include the sign, slotted, silhouette, shadow, and shadow blackout, which are perfect for users to give more accents to their work. The sizes of the patterns and designs can be enlarged, depending on the purpose of the project. Users can even combine the patterns to create a single art project, and there are special buttons on the keypad overlay that combine patterns at once. There is no need for manual cutting, because the machine does the job. All the user will have to do is to press button that corresponds to the design and pattern he wishes to apply.
This cartridge has also unique foundation keys that allow users to create several layers in their project. These foundation keys are actually responsible for the solid base or shape of the project. A user can opt for either a square-shape base or an oval-shape base, or combine any of these to make the project more attractive.
The George and the basic shapes cartridge can be used in making greeting cards for birthdays, graduations, Valentine’s Day, anniversaries, and other special holidays. It can also be used in making posters for campaigns, prom announcements, and product advertisement. Other special purposes of this cartridge are invitations, scrap books, banners, door hangers, school projects, and personalized items.

Each design is vividly different from the rest, and one is given the option of cutting that design with a circle border, or making a variety of card versions. There is also the option of getting to use simply the outline of the art (blackout mode) or the shadow. Accompanied also are certain phrases often associated with newborns, such as “It’s a girl!”, “It’s a boy!”, or ever “twins”. The variety shows how extensive the cartridge is and that there is a design for every possible situation.
By using New Arrival Cricut cartridge, rest assured that the next person who sees the product will be utterly awed at its loveliness and the effort put into making it. People will marvel at how it was done, and the artist’s creativity will just keep shining.

Speaking of Fall Cricut Cartridge Review
If you are someone who enjoys activities that involve arts and craft then you will most probably be into scrapbooking. Scrapbooking is a very productive and fun art project whether done alone or in the company of family and friends. If you are a parent or a pre-school teacher then you can make use of this activity to make kids’ learning experience a lot more fun. Characters and shapes needed for scrapbooking can be cut and printed from cutting machines with the use of especially designed cartridges.
One such cartridge that may be of interest to you is the Speaking of Fall cartridge, which includes letters and numbers designed in a unique fall style. The characters in this cartridge are all delightfully made from foliage and other common shapes and colors seen during autumn. As designed by Marie Cole, the cartridge allows you to customize the characters six different ways. You can print it as a regular or a tri-fold card and you can also choose to print the letters and numbers inside a leaf or print just the character’s shadow. The special features also include the layers and layer shadow options.
Using the Speaking of Fall Cricut cartridge is simple enough. You just need to press on the specific character that you want to print and then hit the cut button. If you want to select several characters at once, just press the shift lock key before selecting the characters. The keypad overlay that comes with the package also allows you to choose between the regular and the blackout version of each character. A blackout version will have none of the webbing or intricate designs seen in the regular version. In choosing a styling feature, you just need to select the styling that you want before pressing the cut button.
There is a diagram for every character in the cartridge and it tells you that if you press the shift key before selecting the character icon then you will get the design in the right portion of the diagram. But if you select the icon without pressing on the shift key then you are in effect choosing the design on the left. This means that even without using the special features key, you already have different printing options to choose from.
Speaking of Fall comes as a package so that when you order it you get not only the cartridge itself but also a keypad overlay, an instruction booklet and a storage case. The cartridge is 7.5×4x1.8 inches big, weighs a pound and is best used with the Cricut Cutter or the Cricut Expressions Machine.
