The 6 creative features on the Locker Talk Cricut Cartridge are:
- Phrase / Layers
- Book Cover
Blackout is featured on all Cricut cartridges so I will not talk about it here. Shadow is another common creative feature and it creates a solid version of the shapes which is useful for layering. Layers splits the shapes into it’s most basic shapes allowing you to cut each shape in a different color, or texture. This allows a very 3D look to your project and it is easy to do! Phrase / Layers will cut a phrase and the background for that phrase allowing another way to add a layered custom look to your scrapbook.
Card and book cover are similar in that they create a large solid block with a small cutout shape. The holes, however, are located in different spots allowing them to be used in different ways. With Book cover, the holes are located on the left hand side of the card. You can run string or ribbon through the holes and create a neat book scrapbooking project. With Card, the holes are located in the middle of the card which allows it to be folded neatly in two and attached to whatever you wish.
Overall, Locker Talk provides a significant value for your creative scrapbooking dollar. You will not be disappointed by this purchase!
