Graphically Speaking Cricut Cartridges Review

The Graphically Speaking cartridge was created by Kerri Bradford, and unlike other cartridges, the shapes on this cartridge are mostly words and phrases. Graphically Speaking also contains illustrations that complement the cartridge’s phrase and word shapes. A few suggestions for potential projects for which this cartridge would be perfect are greeting cards, posters, flyers, scrapbooks, journals, and notebooks. The shapes included in the cartridge are also good for decorating rooms or event venues.

The shapes on Graphically Speaking are grouped by certain themes. Some of the graphics pay homage to the great outdoors with shapes like the sun and trees, and words and phrases like “nature,” “outside,” and “the great outdoors.” The love-inspired theme includes images of hearts and ampersands as well as words like “me you,” “together,” and “best of friends.” There are also shapes that are based on the ocean and water. These images and words include waves, surfboards, bubbles, a drop of water coming from a faucet, “water,” “H2O,” “water works,” and “Catch a wave.” For trips down memory lane, Graphically Speaking features shapes and text like lampposts, a street sign with “Memory Ln” written on it, “past,” and “memories.” Dreaming big is also a theme in this cartridge as it contains phrases and images, such as “think big,” “dream big,” “imagine,” “dream,” “state of mind,” and speech and thought bubbles. To show time-related ideas, the shapes on Graphically Speaking include “24/7,” “time,” “remember,” and clock outlines. Apart from these themes, this cartridge also helps keep you grounded with phrases and graphics like “Reality is good,” “This is life,” “experience,” and globes. Another abstract idea in the cartridge is gentleness or relaxation, which is represented by the words “soft,” “comfy,” and “gentle,” and by images of clouds. Graphically Speaking brings users back to school with the following text: “school zone,” “learn,” “teach me,” and “old school.” Also making an appearance in the cartridge are angelic words and phrases, like “100% pure,” “innocent,” “sweet,” and “my angel.” For those who believe in destiny, the cartridge offers text like “discover,” “serendipity,” and “a fortunate accident.”

There are still a lot more themes and their corresponding shapes in this cartridge. Besides these shapes, Graphically Speaking has fun creative features, such as Phrase, Word, Jumbled, Type, Icon, and Icon Blackout. The Phrase feature enables users to work with only phrases, while the Word feature allows users to use only single-word text. The Jumbled feature refers to text that is not written as one line but in fragments. Type, on the other hand, refers to words or phrases that are written in the normal way. The Icon feature is for users to utilize drawings instead of just words and phrases. Icon Blackout is for shading in empty spaces in icons.
