Walk In My Garden Cricut Cartridge Review
Walk In My Garden is part of the shape family of Cricut Cartridges. It was designed by Brena Birrell. She also has the My Community cartridge out.
Just like all the other 50+ Cricut Cartridges, Walk In My Garden comes with a handbook, keyboard overlay, a binder, and the font cartridge. This cricut cartridge is compatible with both the orginal Cricut machine, and the Cricut Expression machine. It is simple to use this cartridge: simply plug it in, turn on the Cricut machine, and then turn on the machine.
Like all Cricut cartridges belonging to the shape family, this cartridge has a multitude of fun shapes and phrases to cut. There are tons of different flowers to use in your projects including daisies, posies, bleeding hearts, daffodils, irises, roses, and tulips. What is neat about the flowers is when you cut them with the Cricut machine is that the machine can make all the layers needed to create a multi-layered, multi-colored flower. Perfect for you next project!
This cartridge doesn't just do flowers. It also does other garden inspired shapes like pots, watering cans, gardening tools, wheelbarrows, and leaves. Garden critters are also included like bees, turtles, butterflies, dragonflies, and ladybugs.
The words that are included on the cartridge are 'be', 'happy', 'friends', 'smile', 'thanks', 'a bunch', 'thinking', 'of you', 'to:', 'from:', 'for you', and 'love'. As you can this cartridge, like all Cricut Cartridges, are infinitely useful for all your scrapbooking projects.
It even has cards and tags that you can fold up for custom, money saving labels for your presents and gifts.
Like all Cricut Cartridges, cartridge features Special Features. There are 6 Special Features included in the cartridge; Card, Bread Tag, Tag, Borders, Shadow, and Shadow Blackout. Card creates a card version with a small emblem of whatever base shape you choose in the lower right hand corner. Bread Tag is just like card, but creates a bread tag like slit which allows the tag to be hung of off whatever you wish. Tag makes a bookmark-like tag with a loop at the top, useful for tying it to whatever projects you have. Shadow creates a slightly larger version of a shape, useful for creating multi-layered, or multi-colored objects. Blackout is like shadow except it has all the details omitted, useful for a foundation upon with to build a shape. Finally, the most exciting Special Feature is border. This creates three linked shapes in a row and the shift border will create the detail.
